4 3/4 Davis Hall Nantucket Basket with Very Dark Patina, Nantucket Circa 1880
InformationFine small round Nantucket light Ship Basket Attributed to Davis Hall, Nantucket circa 1880. The basket has a oak swing handle done in the typical manor of Davis Hall. The rim and base are also oak. The basket has oak ribs and rattan weavers. The inside of the base is finely turned in a pattern of concentric circles common to the work of Davis Hall. (FA1248)
Condition: The basket has a very deep dark patina and some missing ribs and rattan weave.
