Chelsea Clock Co., Chelsea 8 1/2 inch desk clock with house strike movement number #140357, circa 1930. The clock has a silvered 8 ½ inch silvered dial with waxed filled Arabic numerals. Below the numeral “12” is a slow/fast adjustment which is above the signature CHELSEA CLOCK Co. BOSTON U.S.A. The clock has a standard Chelsea 8 day movement and strikes house hours. The clock sits on its original base with ball feet and the original beveled glass with swing bezel with applied shield hinge. The bottom of the clock is wood and has the serial number #140357 which matches the movement number. The clock and base have a well preserved bronzed original patina that is in excellent condition.
Condition: The clock is keeping accurate time and striking on the hour and half hour.
