Very Wide Matched Pair of Sperm Whale Teeth, 19th century
InformationFine pair of matching very broad natural sperm whale teeth, probably caught by a 19th century American whale man. These Finely shaped teeth have a natural polish above the gum line of about 3 ½ inches. Below they have their naturally untouched rough surface. They are amongst the finest pair of natural wide sperm whale teeth we have seen. The teeth are mounted on new oval bases. (SC1351)
Condition: The teeth have a worm deep age patina. There are a few small thin typical age cracks along the surface of booth teeth.
