Hyland Granby Antiques maintains a fine collection of English and American 18th and 19th Century Marine instruments including backstaffs, quadrants, sextants, telescopes and ship’s chronometers. Almost all the instruments in the collection are signed by many of the most illustrious makers like Ramsden and most of the instruments retain their original boxes. Floor standing telescopes have been a specialty for many years. We also specialize in presentation pieces.
