Charming young boys two part sailor suit, American, circa 1920. The top section is a white shirt with small pocket to the left. The collar is a typical sailor style with the squared-off back and knotted tie front with blue and white stripes. The sleeves are made of the same navy blue and white fabric as the collar. The bottom section are navy blue shorts with a light colored lining. There are small pockets to the sides and there are four original mother of pearl buttons which attach the shirt to the shorts and two additional buttons attach on the reverse. The suiit retains the original bret hat which has a white ground with primitive blue and white sailboat pattern with a hexagonal

Condition: The suit and hat are in excellent condition with the exception of minor staining to the shirt.
