Rare pair of cast iron baseball player andirons. One andiron features a pitcher and the other a batter. The detail in each andiron is superior to most andirons they are more on the level of a sculpture. The andiron dogs by sliding the dove tail end into the baseball player dove tail sleeve. The dogs are numbered with a stamp on the sides with the number 8908. The back of the players are engraved “RBS/09”.
Condition: The andirons are in excellent original condition and have a warm natural patina.
