An attractive kangaroo dagger crafted by Lorenzo Hendricks who made knives based on different patterns but specialized in making kangaroo knives. This Kangaroo Dagger has a 7 - 3/8" blade that features beautifully engraved foliate panels. The obverse panel is marked "HENDRICKS. / MESA. AZ." and the reverse panel is marked "COMPLETED & ENG. BY / SPINALE. R. LORAIN. OH. / 1999". Joining the knife to its handle are beautifully engraved 14K gold bolsters that feature kangaroos surrounded by foliate scrolls. Mammoth grip scales remain tightly pinned in place with small gold decorations at center. Pommel is beautifully engraved kangaroo heads. (KN0050)

About the Co-Maker Engraver: Richard Spinale specialty was in high-art working knives, his skills honed having apprenticed under Henry Frank. Richard only made a few knives each year, making his work rare and hard to obtain. Passed away in 2014 (we believe)
