Hand-colored print titled SCHOONER YACHT "HENRIETTA", 205 TONS, NEW-YORK YACHT CLUB and published London 25th January 1867 by Wm Foster 17, Bilhter Street E.C. It is further inscribed that Henrietta was the winner of the Great Ocean Race having left New York December 11 and arriving at Cowes December 25, 1866. It also mentions that Henrietta was built by Mr. Steers in New York. The image depicts a starboard profile of Henrietta under sail flying a blue pennant from the peak of her main mast. This was an official print made for the New York Yacht Club. (PR-1199)
Condition of print: The print has full margins with a few minor tears not effecting the image. The print has good color and has a strong impression.
Condition of frame: The print retains its original ebonized walnut frame with silver leaf liner. The frame has an old finish.
